Our mission is simple and unshakeable:
to honour Sarah’s legacy by creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where women and children can heal, rebuild, and rise.

We are here to break cycles, amplify silenced voices, and empower survivors through community, education, and compassion. Every project we build is rooted in lived experience, truth, and the fierce belief that every woman deserves safety, dignity, and a future filled with possibility.

At the Sarah Jane Legacy, every program is created to support survivors with compassion, safety, and lived experience wisdom. We focus on healing, rebuilding identity, and restoring hope all in honour of Sarah.

Gentle trauma-informed support groups offering grounding, connection, and emotional recovery. A safe space to breathe, reflect, and rebuild.

Empowerment pathways for women ready to rise. Focused on confidence, boundaries, resilience, and stepping into a new life beyond abuse.

Inspired by Sarah’s love of horses. Horses help survivors rebuild trust, safety, and inner strength through calm, non-judgmental connection.

Healing-at-home packs with reflective prompts, grounding exercises, and creative pages inspired by Sarah’s artistic spirit.

Accredited CPD training for frontline staff to deepen understanding of trauma, reduce re-traumatisation, and improve survivor-centred support.

A supportive space for siblings grieving loss due to trauma or violence, offering gentle guidance, expression, and meaning-making.

Emotional support, advocacy signposting, and wellbeing check-ins for survivors in crisis or transition.

Our long-term mission: trauma-informed,  safe centres across Wales, beginning in Cardiff, built in Sarah’s memory, dedicated to every survivor’s freedom.
